More details about the princess’s condition Kate Middleton were revealed by a source very close to her and the Prince William. The princess revealed just over a month ago that she is battling cancer. She said that she was already starting chemotherapy, but did not give further details about her diagnosis.
Since then, the princess has made no more public appearances. Prince William spent a period away from public activities, to focus on his wife and three children, Prince George, 10 years old, Princess Charlotte, nine years old, and Prince Louis, six years old. Now, he has resumed public activities, however, not at the same pace as before.
A very close friend to the princess Kate Middleton and Prince William has now updated on how she and the entire family are doing. Speaking to People, the royal friend said: “Regardless of whether you are a prince or a humble person, no one is prepared to see your wife and father face cancer at the same time (remembering that King Charles III also received this diagnosis ). William is going through a very difficult time, but for him Kate’s well-being is the most important thing at the moment.”
Despite the difficult phase, the princess also gave an indication that she is recovering well. This is because this week Prince William revealed that for the first time, since all the complications in his Kate Middleton, he will go on a work trip that will involve spending a night away from home. He will travel to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly on Thursday (8) and return on Friday (9).
Still according to the friend close to Kate and William, the priority is that the princess has all the time she needs to recover. “William is prioritizing giving her all the time she needs to recover and is also trying to help her especially with regards to caring for her children,” said the friend.
For royal family expert Robert Lacey: “What we can learn about their personal lives is that for William and Kate, spending time with their children is the most precious thing they can do.”
