Actor Ben Affleck’s “rubbery” features in his most recent public appearance have been explained. The 51-year-old star drew attention for his swollen face, with tight muscles, when participating in the program ‘The Greatest Roast of All Time’, dedicated to former American football player Tom Brady.
Despite suspicions surrounding possible plastic surgery, a person close to the artist told the Daily Mail newspaper that he has not undergone any such procedure. In this case, according to the source, the actor only had recent Botox applications.

“Ben is great,” said the British daily’s contact about the actor. “He applied Botox, something everyone does before an event. He definitely didn’t have any fillers and certainly no surgery.”
Then the source added: “Jennifer [Lopez, esposa de Affleck] I wouldn’t like him doing anything with his beautiful face. And even he wouldn’t want that. Ben is confident in his own skin. He just wants her to be firmer.” Another person close to the actor told the same Mail that he classified the speculation surrounding his face as “a joke”.
The artist has not yet spoken publicly on the topic. Meanwhile, social media continues to be full of comments surrounding his face.

“Ben Affleck went on stage right after coming out of the face lift,” teased another.

Married to Jennifer Lopez since 2022, Affleck has three children from his previous marriage, with actress Jennifer Garner. He also has two Oscars: one for best original screenplay in 1998, for ‘Good Will Hunting’ (1997); and another for best film of 2013, won by ‘Argo’ (2012) – directed, produced and starring the actor.
