TV Globo harms Pipocas from ‘BBB 24’ after changes to the contract and it’s Juliette’s ‘fault’. Understand!

The 24th edition of “Big Brother Brasil” ended this month, but the participants are not reaping the rewards of being former “BBBs”. According to columnist Lucas Pasin, from UOL, the ex-brothers are desperate because of their ties with the broadcaster, which has prevented them from carrying out various advertising actions and, therefore, from earning money from post-reality.

All “BBB 24” Pipoca participants have already entered into an exclusive relationship with the so-called VIU Hub, the “house of influencers” created by Globo to take care of the participants’ advertising contracts.

The brothers have a contract until July and advertising opportunities can only be accepted with the company’s approval. However, without being able to close jobs on their own, they have also not received opportunities from the agency.

According to the publication, the former “BBBs” are very dissatisfied with the agency’s work. Brands looking for participants are advised to speak to Globo, but there are reports of several companies that were ignored by the broadcaster. Even Davi, the great champion, has had difficulty advertising.

Some former participants in the last edition have already publicly complained about the problem. “Everyone asking me about opportunities and such. What opportunities?”, provoked Lucas Luigi. “I didn’t think it would be that difficult for the majority. I swear, you don’t know, but everyone is either in debt or spending what they don’t have in search of opportunities”, wrote the administrator of Michel’s profile. “After my elimination, all I got were a bunch of ‘no’s’ or ‘you didn’t show up enough’,” protested Thalyta.

TV GLOBO MADE CHANGES AFTER JULIETTE’S SUCCESS ON ‘BBB 21’

According to Lucas Pasin, the change is internally called the “Juliette effect”. All this because the meteoric success of the singer, who won “BBB 21”, made Globo change the contract model for the program’s participants and even other workers at the network.

When she left “BBB 21”, Juliette already left with around 15 million-dollar contracts with big brands. Without any prior clause on advertising, Globo had no share in Paraíba’s earnings. With this, the company decided to reinforce the work of VIU Hub.

According to the columnist, VIU was tested with professionals from the broadcaster, but there were also a lot of complaints. Presenters who agreed to the venture did not receive the expected return and have already migrated to another agency.
