Isabel Veloso, influencer with terminal cancer, shows details of her honeymoon

Influencer Isabel Veloso, 17 years old, got married at the beginning of the week and, this Wednesday (24), traveled to honeymoon with her husband, Lucas Borbas. The young woman is undergoing palliative treatment for end-stage Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and, according to doctors, is expected to live for only another four months.

Isabel and her husband are staying in a chalet located in Coronel Freitas, in the interior of Santa Catarina. The two got engaged on March 22, they got married civilly on April 13 and carried out the religious cerimony at Monday, April 22. The location chosen by the couple is a cabin with a panoramic view of the Mirante Volta do Dedo, from where it is possible to observe the Chapecó River. As announced on social media, accommodation with two bedrooms with double beds starts at R$760.

Isabel Veloso’s diagnosis

A Influencer Isabel Veloso, 17, reported on social media that she is facing terminal cancer and has an estimated four months to live. According to the woman from Paraná, she has Hodgkin’s lymphoma and lives with a 17 centimeter tumor, which takes part of his lung and heart.

When she was 15 years old, Isabel was diagnosed with the disease and underwent a bone marrow transplant, in addition to chemotherapy. She even reported that she had been cured in November 2023. However, three months later, the disease returned.

Before getting married on April 13th, the teenager showed a medical report to prove her health status to her 1.6 million followers this morning. The young woman was accused of pretending to be sick to raise funds for the ceremony.

The document highlights that the teenager has “Hodgkin’s lymphoma unresponsive to chemotherapy treatment” and that she undergoes “exclusive palliative care”. The use of “terminal” to define Isabel’s case is based on the fact that the young man no longer responds to oncological treatments.

Last week, Isabel told be receiving palliative care with cannabidiol (CBD), a chemical substance from the Cannabis sativa plant. The information came at a time when she said she was able to “walk better”, climb stairs, without feeling so much pain.
