Caixa customers should pay attention to changes made by the bank to their savings account. Changes will be applied to all accounts of this modality, regardless of the balance available on it. Check out more information.

Caixa has just issued an alert to its savings account customers. The bank is modernizing its system and will therefore make some changes. These changes will not generate costs for customers. On the contrary, the bank’s intention is to offer increasingly better services.

Change in Caixa savings account

The bank is modernizing its system and informed about the change of savings account number.
This change is only valid for the account number itself, the card, account password, username and electronic signature remain the same, the bank informed.
This update is being rolled out in stages, which means that initially not all customers will be able to notice the change.
Customers will notice that previously their account number looked like 9999.013.99999999-9 and now it should appear as follows: 9999.1288.999999999-9
This new number must appear in consultations made on CAIXA Internet Banking, CAIXA Application, on receipts from ATMs, CAIXA Aqui Correspondents and Lotéricas.
In the statement, Caixa states that There is no need to go to an agency to make the changeTherefore, it will be automatic and does not involve a password or card number.

Advantages of Caixa savings

Customers will be able to make transactions 24 hours a day7 days a week, on all accounts;
Bank transactions can be monitored in real time;
Customers will be able to use the old or new number to carry out transactions, both will direct operations to the same account;
Caixa savings accounts will now have monthly remuneration for the existing balance.
