Grendene (GRND3) announces payment of dividend; net profit in 1Q24 was R$139.7 million

Grendene’s board of directors (GRND3) approved this Thursday, 9th, the first early distribution of dividends referring to the available balance in the period between January 1st and March 31st, 2024, in the amount of R$ 75,786,867, 09, with shareholders holding common shares being entitled to the amount of R$ 0.084006016 per share.

Payment will be from June 5, 2024.

Shareholders holding common shares registered in the company’s records on May 21, 2024 (cut-off date) will be entitled.

The shares will be traded ex-dividend from May 22, 2024.

Profit in 1Q24

Grendene’s net profit in 1Q24 reached R$ 139.7 million, growth of 13.5% when compared to 1Q23, representing a net margin of 25.9% (+ 2.2 pp compared to 1Q23). Considering only recurring items, recurring net profit was R$147.7 million, a decrease of 5.3% and a recurring net margin of 27.4% (-2.6 pp compared to 1Q23).
