Braskem (BRKM5): Adnoc has no interest in holding negotiations to purchase a stake in Novonor

Braskem (BRKM5) announced this Monday, 6th, that the company Abu Dhabi Adnoc is no longer interested in continuing negotiations with Novonor to acquire a stake in the Brazilian petrochemical company.

Braskem received correspondence sent by its controller, Novonor. In the correspondence, Novonor states: “we were informed by Adnoc that they have no interest in continuing the analysis and negotiation process with Novonor regarding the Potential Transaction. Novonor remains fully engaged in the process, in line with the commitment made to its related parties”.
