1. Who is entitled to the Salary Allowance in 2024?

The criteria for receiving the salary bonus from the Social Integration Program (PIS) and the Training Program of the Public Servant Assets (Pasep) include having been enrolled in the program for at least five years and having worked at least 30 days in the base year, which for the 2024 payment is the year 2022. And to receive the amount equivalent to up to one current minimum wage, which in 2024 is R$ 1,412it is necessary not to have received more than two minimum wages per month during the base year.

2. How does PIS PASEP payment work?

5. How to register and guarantee receipt of PIS/Pasep?

For new PIS/Pasep registrants, the following documents are required:

For all:

  • Identity (RG);
  • CPF;
  • Proof of address.

For young people between 14 and 24 years old:

  • Proof of education.

These documents must be presented at a Caixa Econômica Federal branch, responsible for PIS, or at Banco do Brasil, responsible for Pasep, according to the worker’s sector of activity (private or public).

For private sector workers with an account at Caixa Econômica, the PIS amount is deposited directly into their accounts. Those who do not have an account have the amount deposited in the Digital Social Savings, opened automatically by Caixa. Pasep, managed by Banco do Brasil, follows the same logic of payments based on the anniversary date.
