Revealed at the end of last year as a Dacia car, the third generation of Duster has just gained a Renault version with a 140 hp hybrid engine. With slight design differences, the new Renault Duster will initially be sold in some European countries, but anticipates the future of the model in regions such as Latin America.

On the outside, the new Renault Duster is much more modern and beautiful than the previous one. In general, the French version brings most of the lines from the Dacia variant. Among the changes are the new front grille with the Renault logo written in full, new wheel options and the French brand’s logo on the trunk lid.

At the front, the LED headlights have a “Y” visual signature. At the bottom, the bumper has an integrated skid plate. At the rear, the lights invade part of the side and again have a “Y” shape. Measuring 4.34 m long, 1.81 m wide and 1.66 m high, the new Dacia Duster is 14 cm longer than the previous one.

The platform is the modular CMF-B. Inside, the highlight is the new multifunctional steering wheel with the Renault logo, as well as new seat and door pattern options. The 7″ digital panel and the 10.1″ multimedia center gained new graphics in the system. The handbrake is activated by an electronic button.

Under the hood, the new European Renault Duster comes with different engine options. The highlight is the E-Tech hybrid version, which features a 1.6 gasoline engine associated with an electric engine. Together they offer 140 hp. There are also mild-hybrid or combustion-only options. The traction is 4×4 or front, and the transmission can be the same automatic double clutch and 6 gears as the Brazilian Kardian.

With deliveries scheduled for May in Turkey, the new Renault Duster should not arrive in Brazil before 2026, still as one of the 8 new features that the brand intends to bring to the country by 2027. For the Brazilian market, the SUV should have 1.0 turbo options and 1.3 turbo, both flex. The transmission will be an automatic CVT type or the automated one of the future Kardian.
