The New Honda WR-V is arriving on the national market as a new bet by the Japanese brand to position a second compact SUV in its locally made range, currently with the City, City Hatchback and HR-V models.
Here, according to Roberto Akiyama, Honda’s commercial vice-president, speaking to the CBN Autoesporte program, prices for the New WR-V in the Brazilian market will be in the range of R$120,000 to R$150,000.
In this way, the New Honda WR-V will be positioned below the New HR-V, which will continue its course with a 1.5 Turbo engine. The current compact SUV, made in Itirapina, starts at R$152,700 in the EX version. The EXL costs R$ 162,300.
Upon the arrival of the New Honda WR-V, these two versions of the HR-V could end up leaving the scene, leaving the Advance and Touring options to remain at their price levels of R$188,500 and R$199,800, respectively.
With a 1.5 VTC DI engine with 126 horsepower and up to 15.8 kgfm, the New Honda WR-V will have an engine that we can see in the HR-V today and, with a seven-speed CVT transmission, guarantees the performance you expect to see in the new Access SUV.
In this proposal, the New Honda WR-V would perform well in the revealed price range, with up to three or four versions. Having a good size of 4,312 m in length, 1,790 m in width, 1,650 m in height and 2,650 m in wheelbase.
Without innovations, the New Honda WR-V should deliver the driving dynamics and construction quality for which the brand is famous, in a package that guarantees a larger trunk than the HR-V and good internal space for five people. .
