As TudoCelular anticipated last Monday (22), Nubank formalized the partnership with the MAX streaming platform (ex-HBO Max) for customers who comply with certain parameters established by fintech.

The good news: it’s not “just” for Nubank Ultravioleta customers (which requires a very high spending pattern on the credit card) — but, at the same time, it’s not for everyone.

The financial institution today announced “Nubank+” (“Plus”), which is essentially a service subscription platform with several benefits. Aimed at users with a minimum spend of R$3,500 per month on their credit card, the offer ensures benefits such as cashback on various partner services, and access to the basic MAX plan – yes, the one with ads from the streaming platform.

In terms of cashback, users will receive 0.5% back on each credit card purchase, with no expiration date or expiration date, and can be withdrawn at ATMs; or converted into points or airline miles by Nubank partner companies. Speaking of withdrawals, Nubank+ subscribers have unlimited free withdrawals on the 24 Hour Network.

For comparison purposes, users who are not subscribers to the platform have to pay a fee of R$6.50 per withdrawal. The MAX subscription is valid for 12 months within the basic plan. In isolation, a subscription to this service costs R$ 29.90 per month.

In the words of Nubank CEO, Livia Chanes:

“We are always looking to offer the best advantages to our customers and we see the opportunity to provide benefits not only in the use of our products, but also in solutions for their daily lives.”

Another feature of Nubank+ is the “smart alert”, which basically warns you if an account registered for automatic debit has a higher value than normal, which gives you specific time to prepare accordingly for its payment.

The offers have the potential for expansion and can be purchased – as long as you meet the minimum parameters – for R$29 per month. The fintech confirmed that the subscription is in a gradual distribution process, so interested parties can keep an eye on the Nubank app on their devices or the email registered in the account.
