Forbes magazine released this Tuesday (2) the list of the richest Brazilians, with assets exceeding US$1 billion each. Combined, the fortunes reach US$ 118.1 billion (approximately R$ 596 billion at current prices).
WHO ARE THE 10 RICHEST IN BRAZIL:
- Eduardo Saverin ($28 billion) – Co-founder of Facebook alongside Mark Zuckerberg
- Vicky Safra and family ($20.6 billion) – Heirs of the Safra bank, come in second place after Forbes changed methodology and aggregated the fortunes of all family members
- Jorge Paulo Lemann and family ($16.4 billion) – Founder of 3G Capital, a group that controls companies such as Americanas and AB Inbe
- Marcel Telles and family ($10.9 billion) – Founder of 3G Capital, a group that controls companies such as Americanas and AB Inbev
- Carlos Alberto Sicupira and family ($8.9 billion) – Founder of 3G Capital, the group he controls
- Fernando Roberto Moreira Salles ($7.6 billion) – Businessman and heir to the Moreira Salles family, founder of Unibanco
- Pedro Moreira Salles ($6.6 billion) – Banker and heir to the Moreira Salles family, founder of Unibanco
- André Esteves ($6.6 billion) – Founder of BTG bank
- Alexandre Behring ($6.3 billion) – Co-founder of 3G Capital
- Miguel Krigsner ($5.7 billion) – Founder of the O Boticário group
Forbes also released the list of the 10 richest people in the world. The list includes fashion entrepreneurs and the main names in the technology sector.
