Civil Police incinerate half a ton of drugs in the interior of Bahia

Police officers from the Specialized Department of Investigation and Repression of Drug Trafficking (Denarc) and the Drug and Narcotics Police Stations (DTE), in Juazeiro and Vitória da Conquista, incinerated almost 500 kilos of drugs seized during Operation Nárke.
The incineration took place on the 25th and 26th, in those cities in the interior of Bahia. In Juazeiro, 100 kilos of drugs were destroyed, including portions and tablets of marijuana, cocaine and crack, in addition to 12,500 amphetamine tablets.
In Vitória da Conquista, 360 kilos of drugs were incinerated. The action had the participation of police officers from the Coordination of Technical Support for Investigation (Cati/Norte). The drugs were seized between the second half of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, during Operation Nárke, a national action to combat drug trafficking.
