Alligator ‘invades’ US Air Force Base in Florida
A video circulating on social media shows the moment an alligator – a type of American alligator – is captured on the runway of an air base in Florida, next to a military plane. IT’S FACT.
The episode occurred on Monday (22) and was reported by professional newspapers. The animal was found between the tires of an aircraft at MacDill Air Force Base.
The scenes show the animal, approximately three meters long, close to an aircraft. After the act, he was tied up and removed by agents from the Florida Fauna and Flora Conservation Commission. The animal was released shortly afterwards into the Hillsborough River.
Newspapers point out that alligators are a constant presence at MacDill Air Force Base. The most famous visitor is Elvis, a 12-foot alligator known for frequenting a golf course within the base.
On a Facebook profile, the base confirmed that the animal was successfully relocated and humorously suggested that Elvis, the resident alligator, may have driven the newcomer away.
