‘In shock’: Actor missing from ‘Renascer’ returns to the soap opera to end Teca’s secret and is scared by the decision

In ‘Renascer’, Du (José Duboc) returns in the next chapters to disrupt Teca’s (Livia Silva) lie about pregnancy.

In ‘Renascer’, Teca keeps her secret under lock and key in relation to her son’s father. In recent chapters, Augusto (Renan Monteiro) suggested that she invent that she will have a son with Venâncio (Rodrigo Simas), a lie that would ease her and Buba’s (Gabriela Medeiros) burden.

José Inocêncio (Marcos Palmeira) has had his eye on the child’s paternity since Eliana (Sophie Charlotte) gave him clues about the big hoax.

This is a new strategy by the author to balance the story, since, in the first version, Du did not physically exist, he was only mentioned by the former homeless woman.

The character’s return generated commotion for his interpreter, José Duboc, as the artist thought that his only scenes would be those at the beginning of the soap opera. “I was basing it on the other version. I thought: ‘He already appeared, it was already different from the first version. I was in the kitchen making food and Marcella Bergamo (casting producer) called me telling me about the news. I was in shock”, he revealed him for Gshow.
