It seems that things are not going well for the winner of Big Brother Brasil 24, Davi Brito. Well, even though he won a hefty R$3.32 million, the newly millionaire suffered a considerable loss after leaving the most watched house in the country, as his image ended up suffering some damage since his victory.
When he won the season, the Bahian accumulated more than 10.6 million followers on social media, leading the public’s favoritism. However, he lost almost a million admirers and now has 9.7 million on Instagram.
It may be that this decline is linked to the negative image that Davi ended up receiving after the end of his relationship with Mani Reggo. When announcing the end of the romance, he exploded on social media, in addition to not talking about the subject.
This week, he once again became the subject of controversy on the internet when he shared the key to his personal PIX to collect donations for Rio Grande do Sul, which has been in a state of calamity since the floods.
The Bahian’s attitude divided opinions. “These things are not like that. You need to have organization. You can’t just throw a Pix for people to donate and that’s it,” said an internet user. “No one told you that personal Pix cannot be used for humanitarian donations? Unbelievable,” commented another. A third highlighted: “For those unaware: it’s a crowdfunding to buy the supplies he will take”.
After all the controversy, the former app driver made a point of showing how much he had already raised: R$35,471.72. He promised that he will account for everything. “Come on Brazil, I’m counting on you. Let’s take mineral water to Rio Grande do Sul. As much as we can, let’s go up. We will help anyone who needs it. Soon, I will be posting everything, buying the water, everything correctly and with an invoice”, he added.
