Outlander universe has another series starring Sam Heughan and you probably didn’t know – News Series – as seen on the Web

The inseparable Jamie and Murtagh travel across Scotland in the Outlander spin-off series.

After almost a decade, Outlander is heading towards its epic conclusion. The second part of the 7th season will only premiere in November, while the 8th and final part should be released next year. While we wait for the new episodes to arrive, it is possible to learn more about the universe of Diana Gabaldon’s work in a derivative series that few people know about.

Men in Kilts is not exactly a spin-off, but it is a production from the Outlander universe starring Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish, who play the characters Jamie Fraser and Dougal MacKenzie, respectively. Launched in 2020, the series is a travel documentary and already has two seasons.

Throughout the episodes, Sam and Graham travel through the fantastic locations that make up the Outlander setting. Traveling through the Scottish Highlands in a rented van, the friends visit the most beautiful landscapes, see historic places, talk to locals and try typical food. In season 2, the travel destination is New Zealand.

Unfortunately, Men in Kilts is not available on any Brazilian streaming service. However, soon, we will be able to watch Blood of my Blood, the prequel to Outlander. The spin-off will feature two protagonist couples, which were announced together with the announcement of the start of recording, in February.

Outlander: Blood of my Blood will tell both how Jamie and Claire’s parents fell in love. Over the course of 10 episodes, two different couples in different timelines will be responsible for the origin of Outlander’s overwhelming romance.
