Globo defines Amora Mautner’s fate after ‘Elas por Elas’ fiasco

Amora Mautner, one of Globo’s best-known directors, recently concluded its activities with the failed remake of They for Them (2023), and had its future decided by the Rio broadcaster.

According to information from the newspaper O Globo, the artistic director renewed her long-term relationship with Platinadaand signed future new projects. After the six o’clock work, she is working on developing a series with Rosane Svartman and Elisio Lopes Jr., in addition to being reserved for a future soap opera on the network.

Amora Mautner is considered one of the most successful and prestigious directors at Globo. Hired by the broadcaster since the 1990s, she achieved great work, her greatest success being with Brazil Avenue (2012).

Before They for ThemMautner worked in The owner of the piece (2019) and Secret Truths II (2021), partnerships with Walcyr Carrasco. The relationship between the two was even marked by a fight behind the scenes, which was revealed by the novelist himself, in 2023.
