Bethesda is one of the most popular Western developers, known for games that arrive with great pomp and circumstance, but it is also known for taking many years to develop these beloved games. This is something we are trying to improve.
Todd Howard spoke with the people at Kinda Funny Games, in a conversation in which he confessed that they are trying to accelerate the pace of development, but do not want to compromise quality in any way.
“You know, they really take a long time, and I think one of the things we’re focused on here is obviously making sure they’re of the highest quality, but also figuring out ways to increase releases, because we also don’t want to wait that long, right. It’s never our plan, but we want to make sure we get it right.”
Regarding Fallout in specific and the hunger for games that the Prime Video series has awakened, Howard says that they are aware of this and are considering working with external producers in collaborations, but assures that they are preparing the future of Fallout.
Whether it’s a game developed with external help, a mobile game or new content for Fallout 76, they are always working on new features on the property.
