Sony has released the software (firmware) update version 24.03-09.20.00 for the PS5. The official website offers update information. The update size is 1,187 GB.
This update adds the ‘Community Game Help’ that had been announced by Sony previously.

- Game Help has been expanded with the addition of community Game Help features.
- In the game Help, there will be tips identified as Community Game Help in supported games, which shows that the tip was generated from other players’ gameplay videos.
- You can participate in Community Game Help by allowing your gameplay video to be automatically captured and added to the resource after review.
To participate, go to settings > Captures and transmissions > Catches > Automatic captures > Community Game Help and then select To participate. You can stop participating at any time.
- If, during Remote Play, the persistent “Remote Play Connected” message appears, you can hide it from the game screen. Access settings > System > Remote use and activate Hide Remote Play connection status.
- We have improved the performance and stability of system software.
- We’ve improved messaging and usability on some screens.
