Coach was suspended by the Minas Gerais Handball Federation
The handball coach Francisco Júnior Corrêa Mota was caught attacking a 15-year-old athlete in an accommodation located in the city of Pompéu, in Minas Gerais. In images circulating on social media, the coach appears to be pushing the young man and also slapping the player in the face.
The case occurred a few days ago, and the Military Police did not arrest Francisco because there was no arrest. The coach was preventively suspended by the Minas Gerais Handball Federation. The information was initially released by G1.
When the police arrived at the accommodation, where the attack took place, the attacked athlete was no longer there. However, among thirteen other young people found in the house, some reported that they were victims of the technician in cases of physical aggression, sexual harassment and harassment. Thus, Francisco can respond for aggression and harassment.

The teenagers who were in the accommodation were sent to the municipality of Pompéu under the responsibility of the Guardianship Council which, together with the Department of Social Development, arranged for the athletes to return to their cities.
Coach of the Associação Esportes Solidários Gustavo Elias (Aesge), Francisco also accumulates other complaints. Last year, he was indicted for the crime of racial insult due to an audio sent insulting a 15-year-old athlete during the Minas Gerais School Games (Jemg).
The Minas Gerais Handball Federation and Pompéu City Hall used social media to issue condemnation notes about the case. In the FMH text, they reveal that an Administrative Disciplinary Procedure was initiated and that the preventive suspension of the coach takes place after more than 130 complaints against Francisco Júnior emerged.

“In response to the contact made, we place ourselves at the disposal of impartial journalistic work committed to investigating facts, through the following statement: 1. In the circumstances of an extremely initial moment, our position is to consider that any interpretation and conclusion summarily taken regarding any police incident whatsoever, may prove to be a somewhat premature and hasty measure 2. What we can assure is that Francisco Júnior, as well as his defenders, are at the entire disposal of the official Authorities, to provide assistance. a regular elucidation of the facts reported”.
