O RB17hypercar from Red Bull designed by Adrian Neweyand the last project that still keeps the engineer in the Austrian team Formula 1 before his departure in early 2025, he will make his official debut on Goodwood Festival of Speed.
In June 2022, the Advanced Technologies arm of Red Bull Racing revealed its plans to launch its own hypercar, designed by Newey, valued at £5 million (R$31 million).
The car will have a carbon fiber monocoque chassis with two seats and a V10 engine with a carbon fiber gearbox. The car was entirely produced by the Austrian team and only 50 will be manufactured.
The RB17 will be presented on July 12th, in the Goodwood Cathedral paddock, and will be on display throughout the event. The hypercar will be considered from the lineage of the team’s F1 cars, as Red Bull did not produce the RB17 in 2021. Due to Covid-19, the models were maintained from 2020 to 2021, receiving the name RB16B.
This will also be Newey’s last act for Red Bull, with his departure confirmed in the first quarter of 2025.

We channeled everything we know about racing into the production of the cutting-edge performance car, and we can’t wait for the public to see the result.”
In addition to Horner and Newey, former Red Bull driver David Coulthard and the team’s long-time display driver Patrick Friesacher will be present at the event. The Austrian team will also carry out a series of activations to celebrate 20 years of existence, including participation in the climbing event.
