Palmeiras makes it 2-0 at Cuiabá with goals from Lázaro and Estêvão
Palmeiras accumulated a deficit of R$37.6 million in March, according to the balance sheet released to the Guidance and Inspection Council (COF) and published on the club’s website on Monday night.
In its budget, Palmeiras already predicted a high deficit in March (R$28.8 million). This was the month with the lowest revenue so far in 2024 (R$39.1 million), with the main sources of revenue being:
- Advertising and sponsorship: R$ 12.1 million
- Broadcast rights: R$ 6.3 million
- Avanti: R$ 6.1 million
- Social fundraising: R$5.1 million
The accumulated surplus of R$9.2 million is well above the budget for the first quarter: deficit of R$45.8 million.
The main difference is in the amount raised from the sale of athletes: R$ 106.8 million until March, versus the R$ 57.3 million foreseen in the budget approved by the Deliberative Council. In the second half of the year, Endrick’s negotiation with Real Madrid will be included in the balance sheet.
