In its budget, Palmeiras already predicted a high deficit in March (R$28.8 million). This was the month with the lowest revenue so far in 2024 (R$39.1 million), with the main sources of revenue being:

  • Advertising and sponsorship: R$ 12.1 million
  • Broadcast rights: R$ 6.3 million
  • Avanti: R$ 6.1 million
  • Social fundraising: R$5.1 million

The accumulated surplus of R$9.2 million is well above the budget for the first quarter: deficit of R$45.8 million.

The main difference is in the amount raised from the sale of athletes: R$ 106.8 million until March, versus the R$ 57.3 million foreseen in the budget approved by the Deliberative Council. In the second half of the year, Endrick’s negotiation with Real Madrid will be included in the balance sheet.
