Family members and acquaintances of Augusto Melo stop attending Corinthians after discomfort from the cast

The coexistence of family and acquaintances of President Augusto Melo with the Corinthians squad is no longer the same.

O My Timon found that, especially in the last month, this situation stopped being frequent after a decision by the players themselves, who never welcomed the presence of people close to the board in the club’s day-to-day activities, whether at CT Joaquim Grava or even in games at Neo Química Arena.

Among Augusto Melo’s acquaintances, the name that caused the most internal discomfort in Timão was Kadu Melo. Treated like a son by the agent, the advisor does not have a defined role at the club and is present at all Corinthians matches and trips in the current season.

Last Saturday, for example, he had free access to the Neo Química Arena lawn and, alongside other managers’ family members, waited for the black and white delegation to leave near the team’s locker room after the goalless draw with Fortaleza, in the Brazilian Championship.

Caio do Valle, another of Augusto Melo’s “right-hand men”, also has access to all sectors of the club, despite not having a defined role. In the photo below, he appears alongside the Corinthians president at an Under-17 game at Parque São Jorge.

O My Timon it had already been reported in January that the movement of people who do not belong to the Corinthians staff was not being well accepted by players and a large part of the employees.

With all this discomfort in the squad, Corinthians travels this Monday afternoon to Asunción, capital of Paraguay, to face Nacional, at the Defensores del Chaco Stadium, in the fourth round of the group stage of the Copa Sudamericana.
