Sesi Franca dominates Paulistano and leads 2-0 in the NBB quarterfinals

Now, with the result obtained this Monday (6), the team from the interior of São Paulo will be able to confirm their place in the semifinals in the next match.

Franca’s main scorer in the duel was David Jackson, who scored 19 points, as well as four steals, three rebounds and one assist. Another player who had a great performance was Argentine Santiago Scala, who scored 18 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. On Paulistano’s side, the highlight was American Kevin Crescenzi, who scored 20 points and seven assists. The third game of the series will take place again at CAP’s home, at Ginásio Antônio Prado Júnior, next Wednesday (8), at 7pm.

After a slow start to the match, Sesi Franca began to put its game into shape after seven minutes had been played. American David Jackson led the team’s attack, which closed the first quarter winning 21 to 13. Afterwards, the visitors continued to dominate the actions and control their advantage built in the initial half. Thus, they went into halftime ahead by a score of 54 to 41.

Paulistano improved in the third quarter and managed to balance the dispute. Even so, the club from the capital of São Paulo fell behind in another partial, which ended 21 to 19 for Franca. Finally, the balance continued until the last minutes, where Sesi managed the difference and closed the match at 89 to 75.
