Taquaral Gymnasium hosts game with Olympic volleyball champions this Saturday

Whoever goes to Taquaral in this Saturday (4) you will have the opportunity to see up close idols from different generations of Brazilian volleyball face each other in a special match in the gym of the park. Scheduled for at 8pmthe charity game will have free entry and ticket exchange is now available on the Internet (see below how to purchase yours).

Which volleyball players will participate in the match at Taquaral?

Organized by former lifter Maurício Lima, the “Solidarity Hands” charity game will be attended by seven olympic championsin addition to other big names in the sport.

In addition to Maurício Lima (gold in Barcelona-1992 and Athens-2004), the following will participate in the party:

• André Heller (champion in 2004);
• Maurício Souza (gold at Rio-2016);
• Maurício Borges (gold in Rio-2016 and currently in Vôlei Campinas);
• Anderson (gold in Athens-2004 and coach who won the last Superliga with Sesi-Bauru);
• Marcelo Negrão (gold in Barcelona-1992);
• Fofão (gold for the women’s team in Beijing-2008);
• Virna (bronze in Atlanta-1996 and Sidney-2000)

These stars will play for “Golden Team”with Marcelo Negrão as coach.

Across the court, Horácio Dileo will lead highlights of the new generation in “Team Amarelo”, such as Adriano, Lukinha, Demian González and Léo, runners-up in the Superliga with Campinas. Central Judson and libero Alê, who played for Campinas and are with the Brazilian team, are also part of the team.

How to get tickets?

Tickets are now available for exchange at virtual box office on the Vôlei Renata website (click here). To redeem tickets, you must do the registration on the website.

Although entry is free, Fans who wish to watch the game must bring 1kg of non-perishable food and a coat. Proceeds will be donated to the Campinas Food Bank and also for the 2024 Clothing Campaign.
