A Ferrari revealed this Wednesday (01) the special painting that will have on the Miami GP in Formula 1 this weekend. The red and blue scheme aims to mark the beginning of the Italian team’s partnership with HP as the new master sponsor of the Maranello.
In addition to the new sponsor, Ferrari also celebrates the past in the American stage, using two shades of blue used by the Italian team: Azzurro La Plata It is Azzurro Dino. These are once again used by the Maranello brand after an absence of around 50 years.
Among the moments honored by the team are John Surtees winning the F1 title with the 158 F1 in the early 1960s and the cars from NART (North American Racing Team), a team set up in the USA by Luigi Chinetti, a Ferrari importer who competed local categories of single-seaters and sports cars.
With the new name of Scuderia Ferrari HP, the team’s car for this weekend mixes the traditional red with blue details in several parts of the car: front wing, hubcaps, halo, sidepods and rear wing.
In addition to the cars, Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc’s overalls, as well as the team’s clothing this weekend will be predominantly blue. The riders will also have special helmets for the stage.
