Ednaldo Rodriguespresident of CBFadmitted that the arbitration not good at Brazilian championship. In an interview with “UOL”, the director took a dig at those who use judges to justify bad results, but agreed with the need for improvement.
– Arbitration will always be part of the questions. Firstly, it is a football culture in the world. People sometimes look to arbitration for satisfaction or an explanation for failure. But there is, yes, relevance in their complaints (coaches and club presidents). This is undeniable. We can’t say it’s 100%. It is not. We have been working so that it could be. It took two years of heavy investment in arbitration so that I could have a response consistent with the investment – stated Ednaldo.
The president of the CBF assured that he trusts his arbitration commission, led by Wilson Luiz Seneme.
– There is a qualified arbitration commission, which seeks to meet with FIFA members at all times. All the time there are situations that clubs and federations may be listening to. I don’t minimize it. I know that there is still a lot of work to be done in refereeing to be prepared to follow the evolution of the athletes, they require greater physical and disciplinary performance. We will always be listening to presidents and coaches. We say: we will have to improve. There are complaints that are pertinent. I try to respect, work and take advantage of this work and the criticism that has been made – he added.
