Amazonas officially announced the signing of striker Dentinho, 35 years old, to compete in Series B of the Brazilian Championship. The player has been in the Amazonian capital for a week and trains with the Aurinegro squad.
This will be the player’s first time playing football in the north of the country. The last club with teeth was Ceará, in 2022.
The striker began his career at Corinthians, a club he stayed at for five seasons and won the 2008 Series B and the 2009 Copa do Brasil. He also played for Shakhtar, in Ukraine, for 11 years and won more than 15 titles.
Wearing the Amazonas shirt, Dentinho will compete in the Brazilian Series B and the Copa do Brasil. The player will not yet be able to debut on the weekend, against CRB, in Alagoas, in the second division. It has not yet been regularized with the CBF BID.
Also joining Toca for the rest of the season is midfielder Falcão, who was at Al Dhafra-UAE. He has spent time at the Athletico-PR and São Paulo-SP bases, in addition to having played as a professional for Athletic-MG and Itabirito-MG.
