Some of the players played by Tite were unanimously criticized by the fans. Others, however, had defenders and accusers. Goalkeeper Rossi falls into the second category.
The archer conceded two goals in the match against Bolívar and had a stance that left many Flamengo fans outraged on social media. Although the player was considered a positive point of the match for some, others criticized the athlete’s performance for his frequent “kicks” in the duel.
The goalkeeper’s strategy was seen by many as inefficient and detrimental to the team against Bolívar. In total, there were 29 long ball attempts, ten of which were successful.
Rossi was identified by internet users on social media as an average athlete with no potential to be unquestionable in the starting team or even to have the prominence previously given.

The fact is that Flamengo will have to chase the result. Five points away from the leadership of Group E, Rubro-Negro will have to complete the second half of the Libertadores group stage without mistakes and hope for Bolívar’s stumbles to try to finish this stage as first place.
The team returns to the field for the continental tournament only on May 7th, when they visit Palestino in Chile. Before that, Mais Querido will have games for the Brasileirão and Copa do Brasil to play.
