Decision on new appeal against Horner expected at the end of May

Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner had been cleared of misconduct by a lawyer hired by Red Bull in an investigation carried out by the team itself. However, the team employee who accused him appealed the decision, seeking to reverse the result. According to The Sun newspaper, the new investigation should be completed in about a month. It is not yet clear whether a public verdict will be released immediately after the investigation ends.

The accuser, currently suspended by the team but receiving full pay, wishes to return to Red Bull Racing, and reportedly, is targeting Horner’s departure. The English tabloid reports that a new internal investigation is underway, and the woman hopes to be exonerated. The expectation is that the investigation will be completed by mid-May.

“The person responsible for the new investigation expected to have already heard her in testimony, but there was an inevitable delay,” a source told The Sun. “A lot of work has already been done on the appeal, but her new testimony will be substantial for the new investigation. It’s important to do it right.”

The possibility that those responsible for the investigation will speak to Horner again after hearing the woman’s report has not been ruled out. “Christian may be questioned again in light of any new information she presents,” the source concluded.
