The CPI for the Manipulation of Games and Sports Betting approved the summoning of the former referee Glauber do Amaral Cunha, suspected of charging bribes for alleged interference in the result of a match in the third division of the Campeonato Carioca, so that he can provide ‘information on suspected manipulation’. The information is from the newspaper The globe.

The date for Glauber to be heard has not yet been set. His participation, mandatory, will be in an open session. The commission also approved invitations to hear the arbitrators Raphael Claus and Daiane Muniz, offended by Vasco coach, Ramón Diaz, in the first round of the 2024 Brazilian Championship.

The invitations for the arbitrators to be heard were presented by the president of the CPI, senator Jorge Kajuru (PSB-GO). The parliamentarian states that Raphael and Daiane were selected together for 11 games among the 38 rounds of the 2023 Brasileirão.
