Athletes are ready to play in the next round of the Brasileirão

After training this Wednesday, the two new reinforcements announced were officially presented in the press room at the Luiz Carvalho Training Center. Midfielder Edenilson signed a contract until the end of 2025. Archer Rafael Cabral arrived on loan until the end of this season, with an option to buy at the end of the contract.
The new athletes arrived accompanied by football vice Antônio Brum, who spoke to welcome the reinforcements and wish them success for the rest of the season. Then, the Grêmio leader handed over the number 15 shirt to Edenilson and the number 33 to Rafael Cabral.
Afterwards, both began to answer the questions. Edenilson made a point of thanking the messages of support received since his arrival was announced by Tricolor. “It was not a difficult decision to come to Grêmio. It was very important to have received, in conversations with Antônio and Renato, about the peace of mind to arrive at the Club and that I would be well received. Not only them, but the entire fan base supported me , sending messages of affection and that was important for me. We will always face challenges in our career and I’m prepared for that”, he said.
“It’s a pleasure to wear the Grêmio shirt. I’m very happy and motivated. I come here for the challenge, for the greatness of the Club. When I played against them, since the Olympic days, I thought Grêmio’s atmosphere was different. I always wanted to play Here, this is the reality. I wanted this challenge in my life and, as an athlete, I want to face great challenges. Here at Grêmio I know that I will find that”, highlighted Rafael Cabral.
