In the chat with the press, he spoke about having revealed, in a video released on Tricolor’s social networks, that his father supports Grêmio.

The player explained that he never revealed this when he played with the Inter shirt because of the rivalry that exists in Rio Grande do Sul.
“My family is divided, my father chose Grêmio. It’s difficult for a player playing for a rival team to say that, that’s why I’ve never said it before,” explained Edenilson.
“In Gre-Nal, it’s everyone for their own side. I have a lot of friends there, but now everyone is defending their own”, continued the midfielder talking about the classic between the two teams.

The midfielder spent time at Inter between 2017 and 2022, being traded to Atlético Mineiro last season for around 6 million reais.
