The Caçapava City Council, through the Department of Sports and Entertainment, will hold the Opening Ceremony of the Caçapava School Tournament – TECA, this Wednesday (03), at 9 am, at the Extinto Grêmio dos Subtenentes e Sergeants. The parade will feature the participation of seven of the seventeen participating schools, they will be: EE Arrecieres Natali, EE Prof. Margarida Maia, EMEF Daphne César Guidella, EMEF Prof Fernando Pantaleão, EMEF Aluísio França Barbosa, EE Flair Carlos Oliveira Armany and EE Minister José de Moura Resende.
After the Ceremony, in the afternoon, the games of the first round of Checkers will be held, in the free category, male and female. At this stage, five schools are registered and the games will take place during the class period, also at the extinct Grêmio dos Subtenentes e Sergeants. The following week, the Chess stage will begin, with the participation of six schools.
The competition will also feature Football Society, Futsal, Athletics, Table Tennis and Queimada, all with female and male categories. Registration for the next stages is still open, for interested schools simply contact the Secretariat by phone (12) 3652-9241.
