Kadu Pakinha will compete in the 1st stage of the Brazilian Base Surfing Circuit

SÃO LUÍS – Maranhão surfer Kadu Pakinha, who has the sponsorship of the State government and Potiguar through the Sports Incentive Law, continues training hard in Rio de Janeiro, with an eye on the challenges of the 2024 season. In search of titles for the Maranhão and evolution on the national scene of the sport, Kadu will participate in the first stage of the Brazilian Base Surfing Circuit, between April 18th and 21st, in Porto de Galinhas, in the city of Ipojuca-PE.

In 2023, Kadu Pakinha represented Maranhão in two stages of the Brazilian Base Surfing Circuit, with emphasis on his performance in the second stage, held in Guarujá-SP, where he secured classification for the second stage.

“Expectations are very good for the 2024 season, I am working every day focusing on achieving great results for surfing in Maranhão. The Brazilian Circuit is a very important event, and there will be no lack of dedication in search of the top positions. Once again, I would like to thank the State government and Potiguar, who provide all the support so that I can represent Maranhão in the main competitions in the country”, says Pakinha, who is also confirmed in the race for the Circuito Carioca, one of the most competitive in Brazil.

Kadu Pakinha accumulated good performances in the events held in 2023. The surfer from Maranhão was among the four best placed in the three stages of the ASN Puro Suco Nova Geração Circuit, in Niterói, and was a semi-finalist in the Under-16 and Under-18 categories of the 2nd stage of the Cyclone Surf Circuit, in Rio de Janeiro.

Furthermore, Kadu Pakinha reached the semifinals of the Canto Open, secured fourth place in the Under-16 Male category of the Grumari Masters and competed in the Saquarema Surf Pro Am, competitions that gave the young surfer experience and confidence for the 2024 season.
