247 with RT Last Minute – The daughter of influential Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, known for his anti-Western stance, died when her car exploded in the Moscow region, local media reported.
Witnesses to the event, which took place around 9:45 pm (local time), say a powerful explosion shook the vehicle in the middle of the road, scattering debris across the area.
One of the preliminary versions suggests that the authors of the alleged attack wanted to end Dugin’s life, while the leader of Donetsk, Denis Pushilin, blamed “terrorists of the Ukrainian regime” for the attack.
Daria Dugina was added to the UK sanctions lists in July this year. Aleksandr Dugin was sanctioned by the European Union, the US and Canada in 2014 and 2015.
