Images from Inpe (National Institute for Space Research) sent to Power360 this Tuesday (May 7, 2024) show the before and after of the heavy rains that hit the State of Rio Grande do Sul for more than a week.
According to the Civil Defense bulletin at 9:30 am, the floods have already left at least 90 dead, 132 missing and 361 injured.
To help with the situation, the government of Rio Grande do Sul reactivated the Pix key for cash donations. The “SOS Rio Grande do Sul” bank account, the same one used to help victims of the storms that hit the State in 2023, accepts contributions from individuals and legal entities.
