One of the witnesses reported having helped to rescue the worker, and the other witnessed Fernando with the injured passenger. To the UOLpolice chief Nelson Vinicius Alves stated that the witnesses said that “it was a matter of seconds before he hit”.
The victim’s children were at the 30th DP (Tatuapé), which is investigating the case, this Tuesday. According to the police, family members and a lawyer demanded speedy investigations and Fernando’s preventive arrest.
Owner of the poker house where Fernando said he was before the accident will be heard. A subpoena has already been sent and images of the location on the date of the incident will be requested. O UOL was at the location of the establishment, but the person responsible was not found. An employee announced that the house is “closed indefinitely.”
Another witness who saw the moment of the accident has not yet been interviewed, but is expected to appear at the police station on Wednesday (3).
Civil Police hope to collect testimonial evidence by Friday (5). At the end of the investigations, including the analysis of the dynamics of the accident, Fernando’s preventive detention (for an indefinite period of time) will be requested, said the delegate.
