Camila Pitanga reveals diagnosis of asymptomatic pneumonia and warns followers: I imagined it to be a beginning of burnout

This Tuesday, the 26th, Camila Pitanga shared on social media that she was hospitalized for pneumonia. In the text, the actress said that she had no symptoms of the disease, just tiredness, which she believed was due to a lot of work and family issues.

On social media, the artist reported that she had to be hospitalized to treat the disease. Camila also reinforced the importance of keeping exams up to date. In the long text, she informed that she is well and medicated.

A little while ago I started to feel extremely tired, I thought it was a beginning of exhaustion due to a lot of work and personal issues that demanded a lot from me, being away from home, missing my family… My body couldn’t take itit started.

Afterwards, Pitanga said that her entire team asked her to take a few days off and undergo tests to understand what was happening to the artist’s body. It was then that the diagnosis came.

During the recordings, the entire attentive and loving team thought it best for me to rest and recover. Holy days of rest. At the same time, they also asked me to take tests to ensure it was just fatigue. I underwent several important tests which, little by little, despite some changes, reassured me as we ruled out hypotheses. We arrived at the diagnosis, asymptomatic pneumonia, that is, without those most expected symptoms: fever, cough or any difficulty breathing. Pneumonia is fully treated.
