On Thursday (25), Anitta performed “Sabana” live for the first time on stage at the Latin American Music Awards 2024. The award ceremony took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas, in the US state of Nevada.

The performance took place hours before the singer officially released “Funk Generation”, her sixth studio album, which features carioca funk in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

In addition to “Sabana”, Anitta also sang “Double Team”, her latest single, with Puerto Rican singer Brray at the awards.

“Funk Generation”

In the early hours of this Friday (26), Anitta released “Funk Generation”. The album is now available on all music platforms.

The album hits the market after a long wait for fans and a sequence of postponements caused by several factors, such as the release of “Cowboy Carter”, by Beyoncé, and the cancellation of the music video for the Brazilian’s collaboration with Sam Smith.

The song with the Brit is on the album, as well as the already released “Mil Veces”, “Grip”, “Double Team” (with Brray and Bad Gyal), “Joga Pra Lua” (with Dennis and Pedro Sampaio) and “Funk Rave.”

“Funk Generation” marks Anitta’s debut on Republic Records, a Universal Music label, after a complicated breakup with Warner.
