O Prime Video has already renewed its beloved action series ‘Reacher’ for the 3rd season and, now, new behind-the-scenes images from the next cycle have been revealed.
The photos show Alan Ritchson back as the titular character.

Ritchson had released a cryptic behind-the-scenes image indicating what fans can expect from the new batch of episodes – which are already in production.
Although details have not been revealed, Ritchson posted a photo of a lobster on his official Twitter account. Instagramwriting: “details matter in the 3rd season of ‘Reacher’…Especially in cunning.”
The image may refer to the seventh book in the romance saga, ‘Reckoning’which is set in Maine – a state known for its lobsters.

Ritchson also told the comic books that the upcoming episodes will focus on a plot completely similar to the previous ones.
“I can’t say much about Season 3, but I will say that there are a lot of classic stories from the novels that are adventures that Reacher is deeply involved in. And we will take the opportunity to take you to a new world. It may have nothing to do with family or his past, he’s just having this adventure and that’s the direction we’re going in.”
Finally, he assured that:
“It seems to actually work pretty well for the pace we intend to take it.”
In an EXCLUSIVE interview with CinePOP, the author of the book saga Lee Child revealed which of the 26 published books could be adapted for the third season.
“They can do whatever they want because the thing about books is that you don’t have to read them in order. Everyone holds their own. The same character, obviously, but everyone holds their own. Reacher is not a person who thinks about the past. He never predicts the future and lives in today so there are never references in the books to previous books. You won’t miss anything if you read them out of order. We can do the series out of order too.”, he stated.

It is worth remembering that the saga has already been adapted for the big screen in two feature films starring Tom Cruise‘Jack Reacher: The Last Shot‘ (2012) and ‘Jack Reacher: No Return‘ (2016). Together, the two films grossed more than US$380 million worldwide.
