Crafts produced in Agepen prison units (State Agency for the Administration of the Penitentiary System) are being sold at the 19th Free Artisan Fair – Mother’s Day Special, with around 350 pieces on display including crochet and utilitarian items, metal decoration and clay decoration. The big news this year are resin products, such as necklaces, keychains and vase holders.

At the opening of the event, held on Tuesday (7), at the “Heitor Medeiros” Forum, the director of Penitentiary Assistance at Agepen, Maria de Lourdes Delgado Alves, highlighted that the action is the result of the dedication of prison staff and directors who provide work to inmates, under the coordination of the prison agency’s Labor Division.
