The Military Police of Amazonas (PMAM), through the 1st Community Interactive Company (Cicom), arrested a 41-year-old man for the crime of attempted murder, on Tuesday night (07/05), on Avenida Castelo Branco, Cachoeirinha neighborhood, south of Manaus.
At around 8pm, military police officers were called by the Military Police Operational Communications Center (Cecopom) to investigate the occurrence of an attempted murder in a commercial establishment in that area.
The victim, a 59-year-old man, was already being attended to by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) team when the military police arrived. The man was taken to the João Lúcio Hospital and Emergency Room (HPS).
Still at the scene, a witness to the crime told the police team the location of the suspect. At the address indicated, the suspect, who already has police records for the crimes of rape and theft, was found and arrested in the act, being taken to the 1st Integrated Police District (DIP).

The Amazonas Military Police advises the population to report immediately upon becoming aware of any criminal action, via hotline 181 or 190. The identity of the complainant will be kept confidential.
