The Acre Civil Police (PCAC), through the Rodrigues Alves General Police Station, carried out investigations in the Foz do Paraná community, this Tuesday (07), in response to a raid that occurred on the 3rd of this month. Three individuals, dressed in full Army uniforms and armed, robbed two commercial establishments and a residence in the region.
Delegate Marcílio Laurentino personally conducted interrogations with witnesses and victims of the incident. After collecting information, the police team went in search of the suspects. As a result of these investigations, one of those involved in the robbery was captured.
The suspect was found in possession of R$1,900 in cash and one of the cell phones belonging to one of the victims. After being taken to the police station, he confessed to participating in the crime and was subjected to interrogation.
During interrogation, the suspect also admitted to having participated in another significant robbery worth R$100,000 in jewelry, which occurred in January in the city of Rodrigues Alves. Police chief Laurentino stated that investigations will be intensified to locate the others involved in the robbery, as well as to recover the stolen items and the weapons and uniforms used during the crime.
“We are committed to ensuring the safety and tranquility of the population of Rodrigues Alves and the region. We will continue to dedicate all necessary efforts to bring those responsible for these criminal acts to justice and recover the stolen assets”, declared delegate Laurentino.
