More than 1,500 people are on the list of creditors of labor court orders in Rio Grande do Norte. Together, they have a debt of more than R$231 million, however, this payment can be expedited through the Direct Agreement program.
The program was created after the cooperation agreement signed between the Regional Labor Court of the 21st Region (TRT-RN) and the State Attorney General’s Office, which allows immediate payment of court orders with a discount of 40% of the updated value of the credit.
“We will individualize the precatório, update the credit value and apply the discount considering the individual value per creditor and authorize the immediate payment of 60% of the updated value of the debt”, explains judge Hígor Sanches Marcelino, assistant to the Precatório and TRT-RN requirements.
Currently, TRT-RN has R$26 million to close these direct agreements in the State Government’s court orders.
“The sooner the interested party expresses their interest, the better. We have already started preparing this new list and we will pay as long as the money is available”, guarantees Higor Sanches.
In this new list of interested parties for the Direct Agreement there will be no preferential creditors (those with serious illnesses, elderly people and people with disabilities).
“We will open a new list with those interested in making the Direct Agreement and the criteria are the order of registration, the chronology of the process and the registration of the court order in the State budget”, details the judge.
