SESC releases schedule for the II Roraima International Music Festival

There are just over two months left until the start of II Sesc International Music Festival of Roraimawhich will take place from July 15th to 26th, in the capital Boa Vista.

The program includes performances in squares, churches, theaters in the city and much more. There will be 12 days of musical immersion with artists from the country and abroad.

The Opening Concert will be with the IBVM Symphony Orchestra, at the Boa Vista Municipal Theater, at 8pm, on July 15th.

Solidarity tickets

In some programs it will be necessary to collect tickets in exchange for kilos of non-perishable food, such as:

• Festival Opening Concert at the Boa Vista Municipal Theater;
• Festival Teachers’ Concert at the Boa Vista Municipal Theater;
• Concert by the Youth Orchestra and Special Participation by Canto Lírico at the Sesc and Senac Administrative Headquarters;
• Festival Closing Concert at the Municipal Theater of Boa Vista/RR.

The items will be donated to families in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability and food insecurity, served by social entities registered in the Sesc Mesa Brasil Program.

Tickets can be collected at three points from July 1st, in exchange for 1 kg of food for Commercial Workers and 2 kg of food for the General Public, as follows:

• Sesc Mesa Brasil located at Rua Jaranã, nº 212 – Mecejana, from 8am to 12pm and 1pm to 2pm;
• Sesc and Senac Administrative Headquarters located at Rua Araújo Filho, Nº 947 – Centro, from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm;
• Teatro Escola at Teatro Municipal, located on Avenida Glaycon de Paiva – São Vicente, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.

The remaining presentations will be completely free, respecting the capacity and capacity of each space.

Student and artist registrations

Students and artists in the field of music who are interested in participating in activities such as Ensemble Practice Courses, Masterclass, Chamber Music, Lyric Singing, Choral Singing, Rehearsals and Presentations, can now register through online form until June 3rd.

280 places are offered for Brazilians and foreigners over the age of 10. Participants will be part of Intermediate and Advanced classes.
