A young woman, aged 22, was arrested on suspicion of killing her partner, identified as Deivison José da Silva, aged 33, in Várzea Grande, metropolitan region of Cuiabá, this Tuesday (7). According to the Military Police, she allegedly set fire to a house with the victim locked in a room.
The PM team was called to provide support to the Fire Department, in the Nossa Senhora da Guia neighborhood and, upon arriving at the locationThere, they were informed that there was a charred body in one of the rooms. A witness told the military that he made the report after seeing a woman running away from the house, which was already on fire.
The woman was found and told the police what he set fire to the couple’s mattress after finding that his partner was unconscious, and that he locked the room, leaving the key outside and fled the house after the fire spread.
The woman was arrested and taken to the Várzea Grande Flagrant Center. The Civil Police were called and are investigating the case.
