The training is a continuation of the event promoted last year. “The event is the second module of the training that took place in November 2023, so health professionals who work in surveillance and assistance to patients with tuberculosis were invited, prioritizing those who participated in the previous event as this is a continuation of the training , in the first one we work on prevention, focused on identifying and monitoring contacts and in this module we are working on the clinical management of tuberculosis”, explains the nurse, responsible for the technical area of Tuberculosis/SES-TO, Rhonner Uchôa.

“These moments of training are very important for us to improve epidemiological levels, achieve a cure and reduce treatment abandonment. Here we can clarify our doubts and thus put everything we have learned into practice. We left here to multiply this knowledge within our municipality, thereby improving our surveillance, care and monitoring of this population”, highlighted the nurse specialist in family and community health, from the municipality of Lagoa da Confusao, Larissa Campos.
