The 26 deaths occurred between March 3 and April 28, 10 men and 16 women aged between 14 and 93 years. 17 of the fatal dengue victims had comorbidities. They were residents of 17 municipalities:
- Piraquara, Saudade do Iguaçu, Dois Vizinhos, Francisco Beltrão, Marmeleiro, Nova Esperança do Sudoeste, Planalto, Santa Izabel do Oeste, Boa Vista da Aparecida, Cascavel, Lindoeste, Nova Aurora, Três Barras do Paraná, Ivaté, Amaporã, Sabaudia, Cornélio Procopius.
The cities with the most cases are London (22,369), Rattlesnake (21,063), Apucarana (17,146), Maringá (16,719) and Francisco Beltrão (12,236).
The list of cities with the most deaths includes Londrina (23), Cascavel (23), Toledo (17), Apucarana (14) and Cornélio Procópio (11).
PARANÁ HAS DENGUE INFESTATION
